An ID camp is most useful when the athlete fits the level and receives meaningful evaluation time.

• Ask which coaches are working sessions directly.
• Review team sizes and game duration.
• Confirm goalkeeper-specific training.
• Bring film and player information only when requested.
• Judge the event by fit, not logo count.

Questions to ask before you commit

Who operates the opportunity? Is the venue confirmed? What will the athlete actually receive? What happens if travel, weather, staffing or coach attendance changes? What supervision, medical and emergency procedures are in place? Keep written records and independently verify important claims.

Keep the decision athlete-centered

Consider development value, health, academics, family budget and realistic fit together. A camp, showcase, trainer or marketing opportunity should never be treated as a guaranteed path to recruitment, ranking, an offer or a scholarship.
