Legal-document status
Every policy and disclaimer on this page is a working draft for operational planning and must be reviewed, revised and approved by a qualified attorney before public launch. State, federal, international, athletic, privacy, consumer-protection and commercial-email requirements may differ.
Terms of Use
Users must provide accurate information, comply with applicable law and athletic rules, respect intellectual property and use the platform only for lawful purposes. National Exposure Camps may moderate, suspend or remove accounts, listings, reviews, registrations or content that violates platform standards. Use of the platform does not create an agency, employment, partnership, fiduciary or recruiting relationship.
Privacy Policy
The platform may process account, profile, listing, registration, payment-reference, device, analytics, support and communication information to operate, secure and improve services. Data is shared only as necessary with organizers, payment providers, infrastructure vendors, legal authorities or with user direction. Users may request access, correction, export or deletion subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
Children’s Privacy and Parent Consent
The platform is not designed for children to create independent accounts. A parent, guardian or authorized adult must control accounts, privacy choices, registrations and communications for minor athletes. Do not publicly post home addresses, personal phone numbers, full birth dates, school schedules, medical documents or other sensitive information. Age-verification and parental-consent procedures require legal review before launch.
Directory Disclaimer
A listing, badge, review, ranking, search position, featured placement or sponsored placement is not an endorsement, guarantee or warranty. Families must independently evaluate organizers, venues, insurance, supervision, credentials, refund terms, accessibility, medical support and emergency procedures.
Third-Party Camp Disclaimer
Unless explicitly labeled “Hosted by National Exposure Camps,” camps are independently owned, operated, staffed, insured and controlled by third parties. National Exposure Camps does not supervise third-party personnel or assume responsibility for their acts, omissions, facilities, transportation, overnight arrangements, medical care or safety procedures.
Listing Accuracy Disclaimer
Organizers and contributors are responsible for listing accuracy. Dates, prices, capacity, policies, coaches, locations and deliverables may change. The platform may review or request evidence but cannot guarantee that every statement is complete, current or accurate.
Recruiting and Results Disclaimer
Participation does not guarantee exposure, evaluation, ranking, selection, recruitment, admission, roster placement, an offer, financial aid, NIL opportunity or athletic scholarship. The platform does not act as an athlete agent, recruiter, college, conference or governing athletic organization unless specifically disclosed.
Coach Attendance Disclaimer
Coach attendance may change because of scheduling, institutional rules, emergencies or other circumstances. “Invited,” “expected” and “confirmed” have different meanings. A confirmed label is not a guarantee that a particular coach will remain for the full event.
Measurements and Evaluations Disclaimer
Athletic measurements and evaluations may be subjective, method-dependent or affected by conditions. Athlete-reported, coach-verified, camp-verified, electronic and hand-timed results must remain distinctly labeled. No measurement or evaluation guarantees recruiting outcomes.
Medical, Safety and Emergency Disclaimer
The platform does not provide medical advice, athletic training, emergency response or onsite supervision. Organizers control their safety, screening, hydration, weather, abuse-prevention and emergency procedures. In an emergency, contact onsite professionals or emergency services immediately.
Professional Advice Disclaimer
Content is educational and is not legal, medical, tax, financial, eligibility, recruiting or other professional advice. Consult qualified professionals and the applicable school, conference or governing organization.
Ratings and Reviews Policy
Reviews should reflect genuine experiences and avoid identifying minors, revealing private recruiting communications or making unlawful claims. Verified-experience indicators reflect eligible platform records, not endorsement. Listing owners may respond, users may report content and Super Admin may moderate under documented standards.
Review Dispute Policy
A listing owner may identify factual concerns and submit supporting information. The platform may temporarily limit visibility during review but will not sell favorable ratings or remove legitimate criticism merely because it is negative. Decisions and material moderation actions should be logged.
Advertising, Featured and Sponsored Disclosure
Paid placements are advertising and must be labeled clearly. Payment may affect placement but cannot purchase safety verification, favorable ratings or false coach-attendance claims. Organic and paid results should remain distinguishable.
Affiliate Disclosure
The platform may receive compensation from clearly identified affiliate links. Compensation should not change stated evaluation criteria. Affiliate relationships and material terms require conspicuous disclosure near affected content.
Pricing and Billing Policy
Prices, billing frequency, fees, taxes, trials and included services must be disclosed before purchase. Stripe and PayPal process payment information; the platform does not store raw card data. Payment records may include gateway identifiers, status, fees, refunds, disputes and chargebacks.
Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
Renewing subscriptions must disclose renewal timing and price before purchase. Users should receive accessible cancellation controls and confirmation. Applicable notice, consent and cancellation requirements vary by jurisdiction and require attorney review.
Refund Policy
Event organizers control camp refund policies unless a platform-hosted policy explicitly applies. Listing-plan and platform-fee refund rules must be displayed before payment. Approved refunds may exclude nonrefundable third-party charges only when lawfully and conspicuously disclosed.
Acceptable Use and Community Guidelines
Prohibited conduct includes fraud, impersonation, harassment, discrimination, exploitation, unsafe activity, malware, scraping abuse, spam, deceptive recruiting claims, unauthorized use of minor data and attempts to circumvent platform security or fees.
Listing Standards
Listings must accurately identify the organizer, opportunity type, eligibility, price, policies, venue status, coach-attendance status and deliverables. Sponsored status cannot be presented as verification. Super Admin may request documentation, suspend listings and provide an appeal process.
Claim and Verification Policy
Claimants must demonstrate authority to represent the organizer. Badges identify the specific review performed—identity, venue, insurance policy, staff-screening policy, college operation or coach confirmation—and do not guarantee legitimacy, safety or quality.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
Users must own or have permission to upload text, trademarks, photos, videos and documents. Rights owners may submit notices with identification, location, contact information and a good-faith statement. Repeat infringement may lead to suspension.
Accessibility Statement
The platform aims to follow WCAG 2.2 AA principles through keyboard access, semantic structure, labels, visible focus, contrast, captions and alternative text. Users may report barriers through the Contact page and request reasonable communication accommodations.
Data Requests and Account Deletion
Users may request access, correction, export or deletion through authenticated controls or support. Identity verification may be required. Some records may be retained for fraud prevention, financial reporting, disputes, safety, legal compliance or legitimate operational needs.
Security Reporting
Report suspected vulnerabilities privately through the Contact page with reproduction details and potential impact. Do not access other users’ data, disrupt services or publicly disclose unresolved vulnerabilities. Good-faith reporting terms require legal review.
Commercial Email and Outreach Compliance
Business outreach must use accurate sender information, nondeceptive subjects, clear identification, a valid postal address where required, preference controls and a working unsubscribe mechanism. Suppression, consent, bounce and complaint records must be maintained. Requirements such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, state privacy laws and international rules depend on recipient location.
Payment Gateway and Platform Fee Disclosure
Stripe and PayPal are independent payment providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply. Any National Exposure Camps platform fee must be shown before checkout and recorded separately from organizer proceeds. Gateway availability, fees, holds, disputes and payout timing may vary.
No Affiliation
National Exposure Camps is not affiliated with or endorsed by any college, university, athletic conference, league, association or governing organization unless a specific relationship is expressly disclosed in writing.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
Any limitation, release, assumption-of-risk or indemnity language must be drafted for the platform’s actual operations and reviewed by counsel. Nothing should waive rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be waived.
